Workshops
I am available for workshops in creative and academic writing.
While my focus lies on trans* literature, I have also taught creative writing more broadly, as well as how to approach intersectionality in academic texts.

Lukas' descriptions of the pitfalls and triumphs of trans representation was astonishingly comprehensive and well articulated. They were mostly things I was (sometimes bitterly) familiar with, but to have everything laid out in such a clear way was both useful and mindboggling. Like zooming out on a map and suddenly seeing everything that surrounds you all the time.

The prompts were really useful and I never felt stuck or like I had nothing to do. I'm really pleased with the pieces I wrote over the weekend.

The texts and the rest of the content felt accessible without being too trans 101. It was really fun, insightful, and introduced me to a lot of new material, and a lot of bits and pieces I feel like I should have been close to for a long time.
